Provide      emergency help and support to VAA

Established in 2018 Velama Association Australia was the first organisation in Australia and is a not-for-profit organisation supporting VAA members who are migrants from India.

To provide emergency help to needy VAA international students and lonely Visitors

Our purpose is to ensure that young people who have just migrated have every opportunity to succeed in Australia. By having a close-knit community within VAA we actively provide support to students who are in need of accommodation and referring jobs. Visitors can also contact us if they need any assistance.

Encourage  and promote velama culture among velama youth.

Our leadership team works effectively with young people to embed and promote culture. We believe everyone should be able to feel proud of their culture at the same time be fair and integrate within society.

 Provide moral  and financial assistance to VAA members in case a family member dies

Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences we face in life. We all grieve in different ways, experience a range of emotions. In difficult times like these, it can be invaluable to have the support and we at VAA will always provide a helping hand.
